Beautiful Ink T1 - This is the Mac TypeOne version of Beautiful Ink, my gorgeous professional-quality calligraphic font suitable for drop caps or posters or other fine design work. An extremely broad pen gives a naturally exaggerated variation of strokes and a lively texture created by the contrast between solid black and partially broken marks. There is great freedom and vivacity in the construction of the letters: the loops, angles and slanted strokes are direct and uninhibited. Unlike the well-regulated construction of more traditional alphabet styles, these letters owe their shapes to the speed and looseness of the pen's movement, creating textural changes of an almost random nature.
